The Lazy Meteor 2014 AZ5

11 February 2013, 15:04

First of all we have the curse of the Mayans which had mother Earth thrown into a panic and the global population running to-and-fro. Sorting out the groceries and the meat, guns and ammo and all those necessary things to keep the curse of the Mayans at bay. Yes, those were the days when you stood up out of bed at the crack of Dawn and placed your hand on the floor to verify if it is still there.

And so life went on and the threat of the Mayans grew feebler and eventually succumbed to their own wisdom or stupidity. Nothing happened at the given time and day and an international cry rose up declaring the Mayans to be ignorant and uneducated and enemies of mankind.  Blissfully they and their threats became part of history and forgotten.

Yes forgotten and that means the void they occupied was now available for the next enemy. The meteor 2014 AZ5.   Claims have been made that this asteroid will pass Earth with a record close orbit and just scrapping past on Friday.  This coming Friday. The scientists say it is 960 feet wide and will hit Earth in early 2013   And the scientists are finding ways to deflect it from its path.   A  United Nation team noticed the asteroids repeat approaches to Earth and the possibility that 2014 AZ5 might hit us in 12 months.

The asteroid 2014 AZ5 has an impact probability of 1 to 125 for March 17 2013

It is unclear where the asteroid will hit first.  There are speculations that California in the USA will get the biggest impact.
