Yesterday Goodluck Jonathan the president of Nigeria singed a law banning homosexuals .this came out yesterday morning. By yesterday afternoon people in the north of the country was already arrested for being gay.
As if these people had a choice, they were not even given time to get the hell out of the country, as a human, I must protest against this type of thing, I feel sorry for the people that this has happened to , and when I look back in history , this type of thing has happened before, when the Germans did the same thing in the second world war, not just killing the Jews but killing the gays as well.
The implications of this law is going to be that all 10% of Nigeria is going to look for another place to go live, I say 10% because if you look around the world the average of 10 % of all humans is supposedly gay
Herein lays the problem where do you think these Nigerians will go to? Don’t you think for this reason alone we should engage with the Nigerian government to ask them to reprieve this law. Or are we going to open our borders once more.
The other side of the coin , the these gay Nigerians that now are considered criminals in their own country , don’t you guys think this is a bit harsh, I mean it is not like they choose to be gay . The reason that this bill became so popular in Nigeria is because American Evangelist planted this seed of hate.
I don’t know about you I am also a Christian, and I believe God made everything in creation, I think he made you me perfectly he even made the gays in Nigeria perfectly, cause he does not make mistakes
However people make mistakes, people made this law, surly it could be undone.
As a South African does this law not seem similar of familiar to laws we had 20 years ago?
