The Solution to Religious vs Atheism/Science Debates

22 March 2012, 15:01
Hi there.

Over the last month on News24 I have seen some very interesting articles on how religion is nonsense to how atheism is the only answer vs how science is the only answer.

See the thing is this...

To Religious People:

1. Prove a God exists. The Onus is on you to provide proof. Not to ask me to look into it or to find it.

2. I can also make something up and tell you to prove that it DOES NOT exist.

3. Saying things like you will burn in hell or you will be a death bed conversion doesn't help you or your Religion much with that attitude.

To the Atheists/Science Followers:

1. Your Big Bang theory explains what happens AFTER the Big Bang... however it does not explain what happened one second before it to CAUSE the Bang in the first place. How can that not be an important fact? If you can admit it is a flaw then surely you cannot hold it as an argument against Religion as you can now also not explain how it started just like Creationists can't explain how their God exists. = SAME BOAT

2. Evolution explains how the first living organism evolved but not how it started. How as a theory of evolving can you not state how the first organism came to be. A rock over a million years is still a rock so once again a flawed theory to work with considering the fact that no explanation is given on HOW IT CAME TO BE ALIVE.

With all of the above being said I think it really is time to put this issue to bed. Atheists need to calm down as they seem very obsessive over Religion, last time I checked you don't believe in it... so why waste time on it. With this attitude it seems that you are exactly what you claim the Religious people are doing, forcing their views down your throat. Hypocrite much?

Religious People. Go and Praise God where it matters. Privately or in a church. The Bible states that you should not listen to those who so loudly praises God outside the church as they are fake and not real and true Christians.

Let's put this to bed now. Respect someone's view enough to not want to change it.

Peace and Love!
