The current state of affairs

30 March 2013, 10:09
I begin with the analysis of the current state of the nation, our nation being that of the Republic of Southern Africa.
We all know our history and we all expected big and hopeful changes that our nation who had endured difficulty may rise above to become a keystone of the world, to show that people of different cultures could live in harmony and prosper.
This however as I am sure you may have noticed by now, is what didn't happen.
Unfortunately that dream was to die apparently when beloved president Nelson Mandela left his office. He strived to make massive changes during his term as president however to much for one president to undertake.
Unfortunately the end of his presidency marked the end of what was the ANC.
Now You may be asking yourself why bring up this common knowledge that all South Africans no so well.
Well the point is to demonstrate that the ANC is no longer the freedom party, it no longer represents the interests of the people but rather the people who are in the party itself.
As demonstrated by our somewhat incompetent president Mr Jacob "Nklandla" Zuma. What I am trying to say here is that if you want change, if you want to see South Africa reach its potential it will not be at the hands of the ANC.
The ANC who has on many occasions ignored the massive misdemeanors of its members, the ANC who have profited off the backs of hard working tax payers, the ANC who promise the poor a better future whilst spending billions of rands on their social get together budget.
The ANC has proved its incompetence and pettiness by destroying books, shooting workers and causing general unrest at the expense of others.
They claim to be the voice of the people, whilst the opinions of the people fall on their deaf ears.
To the ANC whoever sees something different to them is a threat and rightly so because whoever sees something differently to what they see actually has the power of sight.
The people say they will vote ANC because it is currently the ruling party.
That they will vote ANC and hope on the off chance it may change. That is not democracy, that is not how the will of the people works. So don't be afraid to challenge, don't be afraid to question because by accepting it blindly you allow them to cheat and steal and lie.
I am in no way endorsing a singular opposition party, I am emploring the people to look at what the ANC has done to ruin South Africa and see there is another choice you can change South Africa by voting for a party that actually benefits you, that actually gives South Africa a good future.
The ANC currently represents what is wrong with South Africa, all I am asking is that you help me change South Africa for the better to not be silent, to not be stepped upon to get rid of the lies and the thieves and make South Africa into the global icon it can be.
