The evilness of salvation/damnation religion

The evilness of salvation/damnation religion

I posted some of the following in response to a comment on one of the threads here.

It seems quite fitting as a reminder to all those believers here who don’t think much further than their short noses. Bear in mind that they can't even agree among themselves as to which of the believers are the right/real/genuine/deserving ones with the right grasp/worship of the right strain of Jesus worship.

You may go around proclaiming that Jesus is your saviour.

The flip side is obviously that the rest who don't subscribe to the same sentiment are doomed.

You are being immoral. Especially given that your source material for your belief system is totally unreliable. Easily demonstrably so. One only has to read the comments and articles on this forum to realise the deep distrust/distaste/hatred the believers in the same source material harbour against each others. What more does one need as confirmation?

Yet you believers, although you must be aware of the (incurable) weaknesses and downright nonsense in your source material, will still go around scaring people with the consequences if they don't believe what you believe.

I think that's plain evil.

As for caring about others, let's be honest. Rubbish! It is about securing your soul's survival/place away from damnation.

These are hard words but we need to face the truth. You cannot be allowed to go around bullying people as you please.

Do you ever look into the eyes of people (especially those who will probably be noticeably shorter than some others around) and wonder how any god can torture them for eternity based on plain nonsense? People who have to contend with the propaganda and lies you lot spread for YOUR selfish reasons?

It is evil what you’re doing.

And please no silly arguments about how or why I can use the term “evil” if I am not a believer. The readers of the religious threads on this forum must by now be beyond that little piece of childishness.
