The final countdown

31 July 2012, 15:18
THE  FINAL  COUNT  DOWN

Some may welcome this article with gladness, others disinterest while the remainder will be in the seventh heaven. I do have feelings of misgiving but when you come to a stop sign then it would be well worthwhile to stop.

I have posted, to date, 117 articles on news 24 and about 293  photo’s. That has been a pastime and I enjoyed doing that. My forays into the mining industry has irked some, others too and mostly those that know nothing about a mine. My anti-dagga attitudes are, or so I perceive, in the interest of the community and not my own interests. And the same applies to booze and other narcotics.

The reason why I am calling it a day is directly due to the trolling exceeding all reason and decency. I feel I have been exposed to this mentality for too long now. What type of mental ailment is this, I have never been exposed to such utter childishness my entire life and that extends over the entire generation of these trollers. To this end I would have expected the editor of NEWS 24 to have reacted in some way or other to curb this irritation. What type of pleasure can be gained by such juvenile games.     What drives persons who we consider mentally normal to behave in such a destructive manner. The behaviour, itself, is akin to that of children of a lower mental age.

In many of my articles I have been blatantly accused of lying. Why would I lie in the first place or go to the trouble to write a lie. As for the black jersey, and as said earlier it will remain but on the other hand I no longer take much notice of it. Pity so many South Africans purchase Clothing made in CHINA. Who is right and who is wrong. Why does Chinese clothing surpass ours in price and quality? And why does the consequences of the black jersey out rate the green jersey.

What I have found is some humour in the sporting comments. Tom, Dick and Harry may comment on the poor showing of team X but should Zion do that then all hell is loose. When it comes to sports then I believe there are just as much combinations in a rugby 15 as there are supporters and non-supporters.

Should this notice be printed then I will post a final one indicating why Zion is Zion

Majority poverty

Being a majority has its advantages and disadvantages, based on various aspects of demographics the citizenry. As far as services are concerned it will always be the minority who will benefit most from government as their numbers can be serviced with the least of money, amenities in their areas will last longer be kept in working order better because of the low demand for it, while on the other hand in the areas of majority it is the excessive usage of services which causes numerous breakdowns and eventually no services. Read more...
