The focus of Africa Unite

26 March 2014, 07:59

Media Release One /2

March 18th, 2014

Africa Unite Party was registered on the 7th March, 2014 and is the newest political movement on the African Continent. Despite being small it has a large vision. The primary focus for THIS election is the farm attacks and racially motivated violence, economic empowerment for all and prison reform.

We are a pan-African movement that has a vision to be a voice in the wilderness. We will stand up for the weak, the oppressed and the vulnerable and we will hold the government to account for its excesses and wastage of taxpayers’ money. Our aim for the 7th May election is to win our first seat in the national assembly and to be a force and a HOPE for real change in this country. For too long have we endured and suffered for the greed and self interest of those who are in government. For too long have we kept quiet about what is wrong in our nation- Whereas the duty of other political parties was to stand up for the disenfranchised– they have not.

There are some real issues that need to be addressed. And whilst we do salute what they have done so far that has been positive and good for the people; we feel they are not addressing the heart of the problem. What are they going to do with the next 20 years in power? They dont have the answers. We do.

AFRICA UNITE is a peoples party. We are not afraid to speak up for what we feel needs to be spoken about. The sad state of our schools, roads, hospitals and clinics. The exploitation of the people in the workplace and the lack of job creation. We will not keep silent.

The AUP is first a foremost a dynamic, pragmatic party that represents the youth. We have a great vision that is not just for this country ; but for the whole of Africa. Think of the ANC as the past…the Old Testament. Africa Unite is the party of the FUTURE… it is the NEW testament in South AFRICAN Politics!

True empowerment will come not by turning on each other in anger …true empowerment will come when we all work together for the good of all. Together we ARE stronger! Together we shall make a difference -and make poverty history.

Therefore, we call upon ALL South Africans- black-white-colored-Asian- Xhosa – Zulu – everyone… to join hands together for peace, for justice, for prosperity, for solidarity and for freedom.

The struggle continues.

I thank you.

Robin.

President of The Africa Unite Party.

Majority poverty

Being a majority has its advantages and disadvantages, based on various aspects of demographics the citizenry. As far as services are concerned it will always be the minority who will benefit most from government as their numbers can be serviced with the least of money, amenities in their areas will last longer be kept in working order better because of the low demand for it, while on the other hand in the areas of majority it is the excessive usage of services which causes numerous breakdowns and eventually no services. Read more...
