The human condition requires faith

28 January 2013, 15:22
After some verbal attacks on various believers on this site, I believe it's time to be truthful with facts about this misconception of this word called, 'faith'.

Regardless of someone's religious beliefs or beliefs in the idea that there is no God, the point is, as humans, we all require faith on some level.

Earlier I was reading articles where people attempt to ridicule other peoples religions and even with me and my religion, then comments are not acceptable and could be read as blasphemy.

Now I am a man of peace, have never raised my hand to a woman, well not in this country.  I don't take drugs and alcohol which are forbidden, and have never smoked the green herb which makes people laugh like fools.  I have sampled some tobaccos and can appreciate a western movie provided that no nudity is present and bad language is also absent.

This is more of less consistent with who I am and I am comfortable with my faith in knowing what I know.
Our human condition requires each and every one of us to have a measure of faith.  That is just simple logic and fact.  You cannot live in our condition and not have faith, you will die.

Believers have great faith in God, and unbelievers have great faith in the idea that maybe there is no God.  It all requires faith so people must not be attacking the word 'faith' simply because you don't understand it.

We all have it.
Peaceful blessings to each one.
