With all the controversy the poor fake interpreter has experienced over the last couple of days, let's look at it from a comic view. Don't get me wrong, he has "fooled" us all, not that I would know anyway, but judging from the outrage from all over the world I have no doubt something was amiss.
Now if this was a movie, we all be laughing our asses off, seeing some or other student on stage next to world leaders waving his arms around would of been a classic comedy bit, we would of seen it in a lighter light. Yes I know the importance of the event, I know there was world leaders, I know all that, but lets look at it differently.
Here is a man, knowing he cant sign for crap, but saw an opportunity to become famous, stand next to world leaders and have his 2 seconds of fame. Smiling ear to ear, all dressed up in a suit, he really gave it a go. Yes he may have embarrassed the country, yes he may have caused outrage around the world, but hey, he was there and now has the most exiting story to tell for the rest of his life! Episode or not, this guy grabbed his opportunity, and gave it his all!
So Mr Fake Interpreter, kudos for seeing a opportunity and grabbing the bull by the horns, causing outrage all over the world, but you have cemented your place in history, and dont worry, in about a month we have all forgotten about it, your famous now! Yes for the wrong reasons, but once again, you did what most of us would of done, stand on stage, smile ear to ear while world leaders stand right next to you and wave your arms around like you just dont care! Well done, you caught us, but also gave us the comedy highlight of the year!
