The outcome of 2014 elections is victory for Neo Liberalism and defeat for the poor

16 May 2014, 09:58
As I do my errands around town. I get to observe something. Whites look very pleased with the outcome of these elections. Now if you have existed long enough to remember the moods of the 1994 after elections. You will recall a very different picture. Because whites feared what was supposed to happen that Mandela their hero prevented... Total overhaul of the apartheid system and complete redress of the apartheid legacy, which, sadly, to this day, still holds firm their pillars and roots. Rdps and roads here and there and grants were not struggle goals... The real struggle goal that was even sold to our people is the implementation of THE FREEDOM CHARTER... WHY YOU THINK FORMATIONS LIKE EFF IS HATED... anc today loved by even whites. The beneficiaries of apartheid and the neo liberal system that keeps our people in the slave position in human life... Aluta!

Many say Mandela saved this country from collapse. Collapse only when black people have to take their rightful place in the country of their birth. And okay when the the neo liberal policies and interests, which continues to benefit the minority and keep the majority in low position in the country. Even in the so called freedom is intact... WHY THEN WE FOUGHT APARTHEID REGIME??

Oh. Apartheid regime was fought so Mandela family can be a dynasty. Ramaphosa and Motsepe be billionaires, Zuma be a monarch, anc supporters get preference in jobs and business opportunities... And the rest of the South African people get rdps, electricity, water, some roads and epwp jobs, and grants... These were the reasons Apartheid was dismantled in reality.
