The real system

17 December 2013, 13:30

The Real System.

I find that the events that have transpired over the last few weeks has inspired me to
new levels of introspection. When I consider the nature of Politics in South Africa I
tend to compare us to America. We are a young Democracy and we have a very polarized
society. The Constitution of our Country is not working to empower the people. It seems
to serve a small elite minority who reap the rewards from tax payers money.

Let me elaborate. Firstly, There is a growing middle class. Previously disadvantaged
people are slowly finding their way into what I consider a broken system. A system that
is open to corruption and abuse. A system that has been governed historically by White
people all over the World. A system that was in place during Apartheid. Its the class
based system. Its rears its ugly face in every facet of our day to day lives.

As a White man in South Africa, I am always wary of what the future holds but I try to
remain positive about my safety and freedom. I am entrenched in a system that Is fundamentally
destroying our world and the values of our dignity and humanity. Why is South Africa so
polarized ? We are all born pure and have no hate in our hearts. The perceived hatred amongst
the people of South Africa has nothing to do with the every day person. You and Me. White, Black,
Indian, Muslim, Jewish etc.

The blame can be laid squarely at the feet of our Government and the Apartheid Government.
It can be blamed on religion and the bias that is taught to us. It can be blamed on parenting
because the older generation is so deeply entrenched in a Antiquated system of Governance that
it would be hard to try change the way they think. It can be blamed on the media who often
report with a biased view. But ultimately, The blame lies solely at the feet of Capitalism.

I keep a very close eye on American Politics. I have also started to look at the continent
of Europe including the United Kingdom in a very objective manner. For an American to become
President, He has have the right resources available to him. Naturally, America is all about
Oil and War and it's Democratic way of life. Capitalism and maintaining wealth amongst the top
percentage. So, When a candidate runs for office, He needs financial backing. As is always the
case, Said Candidate will receive backing from the elite percentage who have specific business
interests globally. And religion has a huge role in American politics. Its called American
exceptionalism. Not to mention the gap between the top one percent and the rest of America
is widening.

Banks have no accountability anymore. Wall street caused the last crash and middle class
America was hit hard. People lost their homes, Pension funds. Security. It is a vile
place that is filled with gluttony and greed. Wall-mart employees cant afford to live
on their salaries. Minimum wage is well below the poverty line in the Mighty America.
Globalization is destroying our way of life. Its not just America that does this. Many
Global companies form all over the world are guilty of our bad quality of life. Work
harder and get payed less. No Overtime anymore. We are slaves to the Corporatocracy.
South Africa, We are experiencing the very same problems. It all filters down to us.

Republican or Democrat, Left or Right, Its the same lie hiding in their two party system. Now,
If you think this sounds like a conspiracy, Do the research. Its all there to be found if you
look hard enough. Said Candidate gets voted into office and remembers the people or Companies
that gave very large donations to their Campaigns. This ultimately leads to More War and erosion
of human dignity. Who profits form War, Weapons companies, Many Politicians have financial interests in these entities. One hand washes the other. There is so much more to it, It would do no justice to try and explain this on a Global scale.

Socialism, Communism. Do they provoke a uncomfortable feeling in you. If so, That is years of
Propaganda doing its work. But, Even I fear that system. I think humanity has failed miserably
under this Political system. I don/t know if it is because we never know the truth or that because
of the history we have had, People are unable to use this system without Dictatorship or corruption. Look at North Korea, 50 years of One family ruling a Country.

So, Allegations of corruption in the ANC are always on the news. Nepotism, Gross Mismanagement of Tax payers money. Unregulated tender system. ANC family members getting very lucrative Government contracts. I know its wrong, But is it not a contradiction to point fingers when the rest of the Democratic world is guitly of the same thing. For poverty to be eradicated, the system needs to change on a global scale. Otherwise the have nots, You and me will fall by the way- side and the World will be a very bleak place indeed. The current Capatilst system is doomed to implode. All of this is only my opinion.

For now, I remain an Anarchist trapped in the system Peace.
