In response to Irukandji’s brilliant article about the seven deadly sins, and also in answering the challenge raised by the Contrarian regarding the dull, unimaginative and poorly written drivel we are constantly subjected to – not least by apologists, religious zealots and atheists - I thought maybe to awaken the writer who dwells deep in my subconscious and seldom rouses himself until something really exciting appears. 63 words – read them & weep.
The greedy sloth took pride in lustfully envying the wrathful gluttons he was sitting on the gravy train with. Meanwhile, in Parlyment, the adulterous, fornicating and unclean, seditious sorcerers were plotting heresies, wrath, strife, emulations and idolatry with plenty of lasciviousness thrown in for the masses but some were at variance with this and chose to abstain.
The rest of us basically have no work to do and are sitting at our laptops biding our time until 17:30, or 16:30 for those who are on planet SA. Thereafter we will commence with our lustful, drunken, strife-ridden descent into hell – or maybe we’ll just have a swim in the sea, drink a cold beer and go to bed.
