Why is it that people find it so difficult to accept other people’s religions?
Is it the mindset that you’re in? Is it that important for you to prove your religion is the correct one that you will go to anything length to make yours look better than the next one?
Every time I read one of these “Christians are idiots” or “Atheists are dumb” articles, I laugh, and I think, what an idiot!
What is the real purpose of you trying to promote your religion?
Being a Christian is like being gay. Being an Atheist is like being gay. It is just who you are. It’s as easy as that.
I am an Atheist. It’s just how I am. I literally can’t help the way I think. Is that a bad thing? No, I don’t think so.
Many Christians have tried to “change” me. They always ask me why I’m not a Christian.
My response – “It’s probably the way your god wanted me to be.”
It seems like that is the only response that stops them from pestering me with such a senseless question.
My wife is a Christian and it doesn’t matter at all. We learn a lot from each other. The way we see things is a major factor. Sometimes her way is better, and sometimes mine is. We can admit this to each other.
There is no problem being an either Atheist or Christian. It is the cultures behind them that confuse us. Just like MANY other cultures that clash.
Hopefully you can open your eyes wide enough to see that you shouldn’t be fighting over religion. You should be learning from them. Take the good and leave the bad.
Don’t think less of an Atheist. Doing that would be judging. If you are a Christian you would know that God is our judge.
