Pardon me but why are the ANC still going to march on the Goodman Gallery when the painting has already been removed from display? Do they wish merely to further inflame the situation or do they just have nothing else to do?
Why are they not marching on the Union Buildings to prevent Bheki Cele from being re-instated, or to ask why police don't answer their telephones?
If the ANC themselves were really serious about building a sustainable economy and creating a non-racial and democratic nation then surely they should all be concentrating on setting up commissions of inquiry into maladministration, the continuous deployment of incompetent cadres, the wasteful spending of public funds and the viability of a country being hampered by irresponsible labour laws and the lack of leadership within the ruling party.
No, instead they're turning a painting, which has already been removed from display, into a focal point from where their supporters, and other malcontents, can once more create chaos and no doubt litter and loot as they go.
This tells me, purely and simply, that the ANC have lost control, of their own supporters and their vision - if they ever had one - and are now intent only on further destabilizing the country.
Why?
