When I read the ANC's panties in a bunch response to FNB's ad, I realized once again that they are nothing more than a party of dictators masquerading as a government.
First, may I point out that no one in the advertisement mentioned the ANC. They mentioned the circumstances that have arisen during the ANC's period of government.
That every ANC big wig and organisation immediately assumed that the ad was a direct attack on them says more about the ANC than it does FNB.
If even YOU can recognise yourselves in their ad, then clearly there is something very wrong with you.
Then there's the way the ANC and their cronies describe themselves.
Regime? Does that make anyone else what to raise a hand and say 'Heil Zuma?' I mean really. That word does not inspire a feeling of democracy.
Then there's the ANCYL calling the ad 'treachorous.' I'm pretty sure everyone's favorite mental midget meant treasonous, but it amounts to the same thing.
Criticising your government publicly for their failures is one of the most basic rights afforded to citizens in a democracy.
There's also no 'undermining' going on boys. You're screwing up. Calling you on that isn't undermining. It's telling the truth.
If you don't want people to criticise your organisation, there are two options: become a true dictatorship, or pull up your socks, and start acting like a government rather than what you are - a gravy train loving, ineffectual, intellectually stunted, immoral collection of douche bags.
Democracy means allowing people to have their say. You wanted it, you got it, now deal with it. Or get out of office, and let someone who can deal with it have a crack at fixing your mess.
