There are personal opinions that a President of a country is supposed to keep to himself - he cannot compare himself to you, me and the fellow walking across the road - he is the First Citizen for heaven’s sake, a Father Figure to All South Africans.
Clearly our President Jacob Zuma is not one to think things thoroughly through first, he knows exactly what to say to keep a captive audience enthralled, a President talking nonsense seems to be enough to impress and amuse even the most stoical of us.
The race thing I mentioned yesterday was pulled out and bandied about like a new toy for the amusement of his gathered audience; “Black people should stop adopting the habits of other cultures”, he said, like taking care of dogs, because that is a White thing. Anyone doing that (or straightening their hair), was embarking on the futile goal of trying to be seen as being more White than a Black. Mac “That’s Not What He Meant” Maharaj, the ANC Spokesman sure has his work cut out for him and must surely be eyeing the nearest exit door if he has any sense left in him.
President Zuma goes on to say that one who loses his African culture is most likely to lose his self respect, dignity and respect for other people, ag shame, all Zuma needs to do is read more and he will learn that the most evil people are those who harm animals, history has already shown us over and over and over again that most wicked people and mass murderers practiced their villainy from an early age, by harming little innocent animals.
