You have made it abundantly clear from your previously posted articles that you are not a fan of South Africa as a country or as a nation and that you are unmistakably not a fan of many South African people. You have many a time stated that you were once a South African but now reside in Canada with your family. Evidently the lifestyle of your chosen country is better suited to you and your loved ones, which is great for you.
Although in some of your articles you have raised valid points of concern which all South Africans (despite what you may think) do take to heart and do discuss on a regular basis, why do you have so much anger against us as the people of OUR chosen country?
In abundance you have bravely said how much you dislike almost all aspects of South Africa, South Africans and the lifestyle we live here. What kind of proposition that is in anyway helpful have you offered as an individual? You say we should pack our bags and leave for our nation is doomed and if we do not, then we are stupid to stay, but then you say we must speak up as the citizens of our country and help make things right if we want to stay but then we are delusional, liberal idiots for doing so. I for one find myself a little confused by this.
You claim to have as much of a right as any other South African to whinge and whine about what happens in OUR country. Really? Do you? It is after all not your country anymore. You left, you packed your bags and you left. That is the bottom line. Not that there is anything wrong with that at all. Good on you, you may have a Noddy badge or a gold medal perhaps?
I know, I know, you grew up here. That is your explanation for your prejudicial and condescending articles and comments. You do not care what people think of you, you have a strong opinion and push back just as hard as you are pushed. We all get it, you are God’s gift to the idiocy of us poor, uneducated South Africans who have absolutely no clue what happens in our own country. May the Mighty Canada and its descendants rain their blessings down upon us.
Did you know the average IQ of an adult around the world is between 70-80 points? To give you an indication of exactly what kind of intellectual capacity we are talking about here, the IQ of an Alsatian dog is 60. Did you also know that South Africa’s average adult has an IQ of 105? To help you understand where that puts us on a world scale we are rated above The United States of America (103), The United Kingdom (104), Ireland (104), Norway (104), Serbia (103), Greece (103), Turkey (103), and Australia (103) and at the same standard as France. Maybe, just maybe this is an indication that we are not all a bunch of deluded morons?
To be a patriotic citizen of your country does not make you an idiot or self deluded. It does not mean that you are blind to the problems which you face as a country or as a nation. It does not mean you will not fight and stand up for what is right.
I understand from a previous reply by you on one of my comments that you believe I am an idiot for being a white South African and not packing my bags and moving countries. That I am doomed, I have no future and that I am just another one of those liberal imbeciles?
Well if being proudly South African, having a love for my country and those who reside in it and having hope for the future and staying here to help that cause makes me all those things, I’m sure glad to be them.
P.S: What is the actual point of your article about your daughter and her friends? I too have friends of all different races, religions and cultures growing up happily in South Africa.
