So many things to write about. I have so many things bubbling in my mind that I feel the need to bring to paper. I figured I'll start with the dynamics of human relationships, men and women. I'll start with The Modern Man women all over want, the one who knows his way around the house. Hopefully, no one is offended, I just want to put my thoughts out there, I'm also very open to debate on my ideas/thoughts. That way I can perhaps gain a new perspective.
A lot of women complain about their men, the lack of romance, their inability to understand their emotional upheavals and men simply not doing anything for them.
... but women seem to have failed to launch when it comes to the modern times. In a situation where a man and a woman both work, the expectation is still there that the man must provide for his family and still perform all the ever fantastic romancisms that women have come to expect from men. Not to mention the over used "sensitiveness".
Women earn their own money now, in some industries more than men, the others are catching up. Women spend as much time studying working hard to get that dream career. They are also ignoring a lot of mother's teachings and wisdoms, no time to learn about house chores. She will look for the man who can help her with these things. Modern men can cook, clean, take care of kids(thanks to some family members who've popped a few), washing and ironing are handled with ease. Men learnt a few of these. This is the Man most modern men have been measured against, the modern woman needs these in her partner.

Here are some problems women are faced with when it comes to the modern man they have built. The house is always clean, his bills are paid, laundry is done and there's a hot meal simmering on the stove. This new man is a fully self-sustaining unit and quite intimidating for a lot of women. A man who can pull a variety of meals from scratching around a freezer and knows more about herbs is a little daunting. What do you make for a man who's as comfortable with the knobs on the stove while making a stew as he is braai'ing lamb chops with the boys?
He is in move in condition, but the problem is, where do you fit in? What will make you stand out from the sea of beautiful women out there(yes, waves and waves)?
