No one has the right to tell you how to live, distort your choice to act or determine what you should think. When they do so they are denying your freedom. The government currently in power have given an illusion of choice in which they propose ,ignore citizens views and implement useless and self serving ideals .The principles our leaders should assume is well stated by the quote
“I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. –Voltaire”
Those who follow are a good Indication of those who lead them ,its ridiculous to say that leaders should completely conform to societies desires because being a leader means making decisions when others cannot ;to act when their people are unsure but they must act in a way that earns respect ; and trust that the leaders they choose will act accordingly .
Not everyone can be a leader but all have the responsibility to ensure that their leaders keep in mind the well being of all ,to bring to book when those held in faith do wrong .It doesn’t matter what type of leader rises up ,change will never really occur if power is thrust upon one body and each person does not do their part .
