If we had a Constituency System to elect our parliamentarians, then those as corrupt as Ms Dina Pule and ilk wouldn't see the inside of the National Assembly again. Our Electoral System allows for expediency politics. Here loyalty to an individual surpasses morals and loyalty to the State.

Ms Dina Pule literally stole from the State and even used State resources to cover up her malice. She was reprimanded by Parliament's Ethics Committee and after some persuasion from the Speaker of Parliament, she sheepishly apologized to parliament. I don't remember her apologizing to the Citizens for misrepresenting her mandate. If it was the Constituency Electoral System she would have lost her seat by now, but fortunately for her, it's a skewed electoral system that allowed her to retain her seat. And also the fact that she was representing the ANC (Absolutely No Consequence) party was in her favour.  Her party would never force her to resign.  With her conduct I guess she upheld her party's norm.

If it were a member of another party or the official opposition, she would be history by now. And if that didn't happen, I promise South Africa, I'd grow my hair back.

But it was not surprising to see her back on the ANC Parliamentary list. The ANC (Absolutely No Consequence) party is rewarding her for all her malice. I am absolutely not surprised by the turn of events. ANC is the party that pays leap service to fighting the corruption scourge. But then again that's not surprising, ANC is the party that institutionalized corruption. And probably after the release of the Public Protector final report on the more than R206m Zuma Inkandla Compound, the country would be facing a Constitutional dilemma.

Absolutely not surprising that Ms Dina Pule might be gracing the corridors of the National Assembly yet again after the 2014 general elections. The reason for absolutely no consequence to corruption, the ANC (Absolutely No Consequence) party is led by Mr Jacob Zuma a kleptomaniac. And it is to be expected of him to embrace his ilk.  I guess 'Together' they can do more damage to the State.

And in the last 20 years it was the ANC which came up with those money making schemes that benefitted a few political elite, their expats friends and families. It is the ANC that came up with the Arms Deal and you already know who allegedly benefitted. The Fifa 2010 World Cup and guess who has BBBEEE convenient shares in those construction companies awarded stadium building rights? The E-tolls? The Privatization of Municipal Service that culminated in the death of Andries Tatane and now recently, the Brits massacre. Who benefitted in the more than R750m Gauteng online dysfunctional project? The building of new electricity power stations Medupi and Kusile.  Absolutely not surprising ANC benefited directly from the project at the expense of all of us the hard pressed consumers.

The much talked about - The more than a trillion Rand nuclear power stations. Absolutely not surprising that allegedly, Zuma family and friends are to benefit. The fracking of this country underground water resource in Northern Cape will benefit the likes of Shell. Shell the company that disseminated the environment beyond repair in Nigeria's Niger Delta.  And the fracking deal and the possible dissemination of this country's underground water resource.  But absolutely not surprising ANC will directly benefit through another of their slush companies Batho Batho Trust.

At the ANC 101 birthday celebrations in January 2013 at a gala dinner in Durban Zuma said - those who donate handsomely to the ANC will be handsomely rewarded.  What Zuma meant with his persuasion , your guess is as good as mine?

My 20 years story is just a one sentence - If the ANC had not institutionalized corruption to benefit a corrupt political elite, their expatriate friends, family and lovers.

Absolutely not surprised to see ANC 2014 Parliamentary and Provincial lists with the likes of Dina Pule, Humphrey Memezi, John Block, Pule Mabe etc. These are members of the corrupt ruling elite and their corrupt acts have Absolutely No Consequences (ANC).

Absolutely, the devil would have made it to that list unless the rest of us revolted!
