Twitter proves that politicians are not only stupid but a waste of taxpayers’ money

26 February 2014, 08:23

What is up with Helen Zille and the DA Western Cape Government officials armed with a cell phone, a soapbox and a self-appointed moral compass? Their loud privileged echoing voices are fast losing favour and credibility.

Taking to forums like Twitter to publicly attack citizens of the province they govern, journalists that cover their stories and publish their press releases and attend their press conferences.

This is not only the most idiotic communications strategy I have ever come across but illustrates the disregard for the public office and political leadership positions they hold that we, the voting public, afforded them.
