UJ NSFAS Sabotages students' dreams

22 January 2014, 10:53
UJ NSFAS has outdone themselves this year. They have always been known to be slow and unfair, but this year its worse. over 40% of students who depend on it for funding have been declined funding for this year. and their reason; not enough funds. what's amazing is that the students who actually need the funding did not get it and those who could do without it got it. we've got orphans without funding and the only thing they can say for themselves is that there is not enough funding.
the corruption in this country is taking on another leash. education is a right, not a privilege, so as students we demand the government to pay attention to our needs since NSFAS says the government did not give them enough funds for the year...
if really "together we can", then let the government act together with us to give a better future, or else we shall retaliate.
