There is great interest in the US Election here in South Africa and the world over.
On November 6 2012, registered voters in America will cast their votes for President and Vice President. By doing so, they also help choose the electors who will represent their state in the Electoral College.
Counting and preliminary results will begin virtually as soon as the polls start closing. Here are the times they begin to close for each state, bearing in mind that some states are in more than one timezone.
