The only conclusions that can be drawn from witnessing the results of America’s bazaar foreign policies is that either the administration harbours a death wish or they adhere to the theory of American specialness, not to be confused with exceptionalism as this has a different origin and meaning entirely, rather being more of a moral obligation as policeman of the world.
The trouble with this view is that it can conceal a host of ulterior motives and agendas, and probably does, as well as cater to and defend blatant self-interest in contrast to the objectives of other nations and to their detriment.
American interference, either directly or indirectly, has been revealed in countries such as Iraq, Iran, Nigeria, Uganda, DRC, Venezuela, Egypt, Libya, Syria to name some, and culminating more recently in Ukraine. From sponsoring Al Qaeda affiliated groups in the Middle East and Africa to installing a fascist government by means of a coup in the latter; the gross stupidity of its decision makers leaves many gobsmacked. Its leaders are either certifiably insane or are deliberately pursing a policy of global destabilisation to attain certain objectives. But why, and what could these objectives be?
Before exploring these possibilities, let’s digress and consider the entities and strategies the USA employs to achieve their objectives, this being worthy of a sub story on its own, if not a whole one, my intention being to shed some light on the intelligence agencies and their modus operandi.
First, let’s look at the entities.
The National Endowment for Democracy is a U.S. non-profit organisation founded to promote democracy around the world. So far so good, on the surface its motives are benign, another do-gooder institution representing civil society. Or does it?
Alan Weinstein one of its founders declared in 1991 “A lot of what we (NDE) do was done 25 years ago covertly by the CIA. So in other words this NGO has assumed functions of national intelligence, or subversion by another name. Interestingly NDE is funded through Congress within the budget of USAID- US Agency for Development Assistance- which forms part of the State Department, or US Foreign Affairs.
Now let’s examine the strategy of these NGO’s.
More than 3 million dollars have been donated by NDE to various on –the-ground youth groups, media outlets, and voter registration organisations in Ukraine according to their website. In addition a quarter of a million dollars was donated to the International Republican Institute, wait for this, a group headed by Sen. John McCain who encouraged mass protests to undermine and overturn Yanukovich. So these institutions represent a back-door method of influencing foreign policy.
So it’s not just about providing funds in support of aims but furnishing mercenaries via security companies to actively overthrow governments?
RT suggests that the private firm of assassins known as Black Water or Academi was contracted by US agencies to participate in the revolution of Ukraine.
Similar tactics were employed in the attempted coup in 2002 in Venezuela. http://www.sott.net/article/278034-Dirty-CIA-Front-the-National-Endowment-for-Democracy-NED-in-Venezuela
Let’s now return to the possible objectives of the USA in using destabilisation as a tactic and weapon in trouble spots around the world, and specifically in Ukraine, as it’s the current hotspot globally.
Ukraine is now under the domination of the fiat financial system and its resources will be plundered by banks, industrialists and parasitical bureaucrats.
Propaganda is a major tactic exercised by the US world- wide, and with just a few companies owning the media nationally, no expense or effort is spared in this regard. Thus black is white, right is wrong,
wrong is right - inverse principals are expounded continually.
Independent nations that are not part of the system are vilified and threatened. In fact the destruction of countries is the objective.
As a Canadian general overseeing the bombing of Libya remarked- “we did it because we could”
So it’s a policy of waging permanent war with nations, a CIA director acknowledges this saying;
“It will be won by forces you do not know about, in actions you will not see, and in ways you may not want to know about”
The frightening aspect of this is it also works without invasions or proxy, but destruction is achieved by the small print of corporate and international treaties that are promoted as non-binding by bodies such as the UN and IMF, overriding national sovereignty and the democratic process without the knowledge of most.
So the US is in fact a rogue super power, drunk on its own power, unpredictable and dangerous. But how can they be challenged and by whom?
A rogue cannot be reasoned with but has to be disabled, let’s hope sanity prevails before it’s too late.
