Understanding Charles Dumbwin

06 July 2012, 08:34

I do not know this man from a bar of soap, I’ve merely read an article or two and a few comments.  One thing is however clear, and that is that this man gets a lot of flack for standing up for what he believes in.

So how do I claim to understand Charles Dumbwin, you will ask?  Well firstly, I know that he is human, which means he makes mistakes.  I’m sure Theists and Atheists can all agree on this!  I also know for a fact that he is not an expert in everything.  Not being an expert on religion for example, does not make him a failure, or any of us for that matter.  We have all failed at something, whether it be our standard 5 science project, or a woodwork assignment, but this does not make us stupid.

So let me get straight to the point.  I’m 100% sure that Charles, sometime in his life, had to produce or do something using a set of instructions, and he got it wrong.  I bet he tried again and again until he got it right.  Whose fault is it that Charles failed to comprehend and carry out all the instructions, the maker of the product, or Charles?   If Audi gave him all the parts, tools and instructions to build the new A1 and he failed to produce it 100% according to specifications, would he blame Audi?  I think we all know that this is not the case, or do we?  Well according to Atheists, Christianity is to blame whenever a Christian fails to abide with his religion…

So please blame the man, for none of us, including Charles, is perfect.
