Understanding the other side

06 June 2014, 09:57
I don't get it. Why do atheists and theists debate?
As an atheist are you not trying to teach the simple as children who don't know any better? Why approach with a condescending attitude while wanting to save theists from a depraved mind? Have an open mind and explore the idea of a deity, go beyond religion, go spiritual, go beyond logic so as to bring them that are without within, understand the convictions of a believer.
As a theist are you not supposed to lead people to God by showing them a more excellent way rather than trying to convince them of their errors. Stop trying to prove your point saints, let God prove His own point by mighty signs and wonders which logic fathoms not, walk in love while having communion with the Holy Spirit or keeping the Law for none christians. God is love.
Stop insulting atheists, for them all they have is logic from a two dimensional view, made to be three dimensional by light bouncing of off objects which gives an object body, trying to discredit their logic is as an insult to intelligence.
Stop insulting theists, while most don't know Whom they believe, yet some view matter beyond the scope of logic, beyond the light of a dimension, considering their view as illogical by logic is redundant.
What's the point of a debate if you know that you're not open to the other's view?
Truth still remains: Christ in you, the Hope of Glory. KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
