Our President Zuma speaks of violence coming from apartheid. Well just a few facts on this matter.
In the years under apartheid, hate speech was used by both supporters and opponents of the apartheid system to stir up their respective followers.
Through racial tensions the song "Kill the farmer, shoot the boer" was a revolutionary song of the anti-apartheid establishment. Now, if this does not promote violence, i wonder what does.
Almost four thousand farmers,if not more, have been murdered since 1994. I suppose these murders are also apartheid's fault. It seems that the ANC promotes racial division and violence amongst its own followers.
The government of the day owns plenty of under- utilized land in South Africa but they are intent upon taking away productive farmland from white farmers. Why do they not rather buy tractors and farming implements for people that want to farm, so creating jobs and at the same time contribute to food production.
At the end of the day Mr President, if things are looked at realistically, we can make this beautiful country work. Stop blaming apartheid for the governments failure to create jobs and everything else it so dismally fails at daily.
