In the virtual world, we (youth) are very CONFIDENT, EMPOWERED and very vibey. Here we are willing to meet new people and mingle or network rather. We "like" and comment on pages, all in the quest to engage and interact with different people and different organisations. One thing that I see from that is the fact that we have the right ideas as the youth and we make good use of them yet, all this is happening in the virtual world and not in reality. Well not to cancel out the counted few that actually do make good use of those qualities in reality.
It worries me to see so many of my FRESH, INFORMED and EDUCATED peers putting such fruitfulness to waste. I'd understand if this sight was not something that occurs so often, I mean DRUG ADDICTS, DEALERS, BEGGERS AT INTERSECTIONS, KILLERS and MURDER VICTIMS are only getting younger.
Development of CLUBS seems to be going much better than that of SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES and we only have ourselves to blame because we show more interest in clubbing and fun more than we do in studying and reading.I see the virtual youth as the beautiful lie and the real youth as the ugly truth.
Let us as the youth change our mindsets, by interacting and networking in the real world too. Be as well known and as influential as you are on facebook, twitter etc..
Wouldn't you be a better person if you were the same kind of person you are on social networks ?
