Vodacom does not give service.
I have been a customer for years.
Getting an advertised phone made me see how they lie to us, first I were told that they ordered the phone. Going to get it I were told that they are now out of stock. Then the phone got discontinued. On searching for the phone advertised I found out that the phone does not have the features as setout by Vodacom. They lie to the public to get you into the shop and they the service stop. They just send the subject to change email when you complain. As a customer I at least expected to receive a call to see if the problem can be solved but I don't think they care about the people paying their salaries. Maybe they don't care if I go to another network, I don't know if their shareholders care about my couple of hundred rand every month but I pay for a service and expect service.After all the promises and lies I am now thinking that the best will be to move my numbers to another network and encourage my friends to follow, as a company my customers will also be asked to use the network I’m using for the dialup servers and wireless lines, so Vodacom might not think losing me as customer is a great loss as I currently have only about 200 customers that uses their network because I find it is easy to use one network. Luckily porting will keep the numbers. Who can recommend a network that gives SERVICE?

Kindly be advised the matter has been escalated to the Marketing Department and we are awaiting feedback.
It is getting escalated daily, I think the shareholders and MD has been passed already with all these escalations. Doesn't Vodacom has any person who does not escalate matters but who actually deal with customers and deserve the salary they get paid.
