In the beginning of 2013 the ANC has started celebrating its 101st birthday. Apparently the millions of Rands in tax payers money spent last year for their 100th wasn’t enough.
During celebratory speeches the president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, said the ANC must unite to begin their second phase of tackling social inequality and the legacy of Apartheid. Second phase? Really? What was the first phase? You have run the country into the ground over the last 18 years.
Education levels in SA used to be some of the best in the world, we are now one of the worst in Africa, with a student requiring a meagre 30% to pass. Crime rates are at an all time high with violent crimes being so normal that they don’t even make page 6 of the news paper.
We have a president talking about socio economic issues in SA, while spending over 200 million rand of tax payers money on his private Compound Nkandla.
This is the same president that has been charged with corruption and rape, both cases conveniently disappeared. This same president that has no respect for white South Africans and further alienates us by telling blacks not to follow white culture and stick to their tribal culture, all while wearing an expensive suit and driving around in fancy cars. Double standards?
The ANC know that the educated people in South Africa will vote against them in the next elections and the only way they can stay in power is by manipulating the ignorant masses.
Cry my beloved country.
