Walking in another's shoes

29 November 2012, 07:15

It can’t be denied that people go through life with their own preconceptions and that their view point are to some degree formed by social norms and stereotypes.

Some say you need to walk in someone else shoes but probably we will experience things differently  the very least trying to understand is not a bad thing but somehow something like a rich man living a poor man’s life is hypocritical because they still have the choice to go back to their life of luxury.

Even within the same class or group peoples worries and grievances differ however anyone can understand a desire to be happy it is not something all that hard to achieve ,a simple toy can give a child joy ,a simple dinner is enough for a family who haven’t eaten in days ,humans by nature are selfish in wanting just a bit more when they gain happiness ,although when does that bit of selfishness turn into greed.

A person can go through their entire lives not experiencing life like others but that does not make their happiness more shallow or their worth any less meaningful it just means that their life is going down a different stream.

In life there will always be those who are better or worse off, so life can only be experienced as it is lived, the best or worst of it depends on the individual so should life not be lived for that small measure of happiness.
