You will often see me spouting my internet literacy philosophies here like a fanatic because there are a group of us who sincerely believe that if the gates of on demand information are opened, everything will change.
We need to teach people to ask questions!
Don't just chuck hardware into some school in the most obscure rural area you can find so that it looks good on your CSI portfolio. Introduce them to Google, Wikipedia, Facebook and the world of interest based forums.
Self education is a powerful force, a catalyst that starts with one early adopter and spreads like ripples on a pond.
If you are internet literate, I encourage you to to mentor just one person who is not. Introduce them to this amazing world, help them fall in love with it and watch them change!
