I came across an article the other day, this article was titled “Why Atheists are intellectually Dishonest”, in an attempt to respond, I fell asleep. Today I woke up and found an article titled “Response to Why atheists are intellectually dishonest”, in an attempt to read this I fell asleep. This is my response.
I am not Christian, nor Jewish, Nor Muslim, Nor Buddhist, and especially not an Atheist, I am human just like you, and I also believe in something, just like you. I am responding to millennium old debates, just like you. I enjoy science and read the bible just like you, but not once will I refer to Google as my main source of facts.
There are major flaws in both these articles, these are as follows:
Article 1
1.) Well I must say that this is well structured, too much information though, sometimes simple does it.
2.) The analogies chosen are not suitable – You make atheists sound worse than Satanists.
3.) There is no reference to historic facts; you are trying to prove Gods existence with atheist theories.
Article 2
1.) There is no structure; it’s like an old politician reading a new law.
2.) Your arguments are based completely on conversations that you have had with other people – there is no real scientific reference, Google is a search engine, not a reference. There is a very small percentage of truth on the internet; it was made to share music, apps and porn.
3.) The arguments in this article are bias.
4.) Proof Reading “All things look the similar”
Criticism out of the way, I will continue my article, my most sincere apology for the criticism, once my point has been reached it will make more sense.
I was in church 3 times a week for the first 12 years of my life; I was taught about the bible and can still recite verses in my sleep. However this meant nothing to me, I was brain washed into believing that the bible is the only truth. I then turned away from Christianity completely and tried for years to disprove God, many debates later, people began to see my point of view and joined my army in the fight against religion. I developed a theory based on science, but still could not find truth even in science. I then went on to create a theory that we are all nothing but energy and that God is the main source of energy, once we die, our energy is sent back to the main source and redistributed in another form, I believed this.
Call me an atheist for running from the money church and seeking answers, call me an atheist for being confused, call me an atheist for my strong dislike of the average Christian who sins for 6 days and preaches the word. But just know one thing; I am still neither an atheist nor a Christian. My energy theory and evolution beliefs are nothing but an experience now.
I have criticized you; I have completely disregarded both arguments and you feel angry, I have insulted the church, other people are angry. We all feel, just as we all see and we all hear, but do we all see the same thing? Do we all interpret in the same way?
There are 2 rooms next door to each other, I walk into the first room with you, you have memories there and it means the world to you while to me it’s just a broken old room. The room next door might be a broken old room to you, but to me it means the world, I was born there.
We all have our own beliefs, and take notice of the word beliefs. We all do believe in something. As humans we need something to believe in. What I believe does not matter because what you believe is important to you, you will one day find your own truth. It is said that on our death bed we see the truth; unfortunately nobody has lived to tell the tale.
My truth is your lie, and your truth is my lie, but don’t let your lie become my truth and don’t let my lie become your truth. I believe in God, but only in the way that I see and feel him because your encounter was different to mine. You believe in evolution, but only in the way that you see and feel it.
