We can't make this stuff up

10 February 2014, 10:01
As a satirist it is becoming increasingly difficult to poke fun at the news. Solely because the real news is so laughable in itself. I mean, we all know the phrase - truth is stranger than fiction, and in South African politics it certainly is the case.
In one week some real crazy stuff has happened,
We at www.politicsinfo.co.za try and come up with creative content to entertain our readers but our politicians are doing a far better job than we are.
The Judas kiss: Zille and Ramphele, seriously, that was some funny stuff. Kissing like that, thinking they're fooling us into believing the whole thing is hunky dory.  Say what?
Then, government putting Robert McBride in charge of IPID. It's actually more scary than funny, but still. The brazen attitudes of our "leaders" never ceases to astonish me.
Home Affairs open for the voter registration weekend. Jeez, that's a first. They're hardly even open in the week. They must've paid them "public servants" a pretty delicious overtime rate.
