We don't vote for a 'government'

22 May 2014, 11:47
We have just had our elections and not surprisingly, and to the disappointment of a number of people, Nkandla Style under Gupta management took the lead. This does not bode well for the country or for our future.

The problem is, South Africans think they are voting for a government.  They are deluded by a concept that we put these guys in, we pay taxes and they are there to provide a service to us. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Today, in South Africa, as with many countries who have been roped into the neo-liberal system worshipped by Washington D.C. and the (Federal Reserve Bank , which is privately owned by the way, by a handful of billionaires,) we, like everyone else in this club do not vote for a government of the people, by the people, for the people. We vote in the CEOs of a corporation that is part of a larger corporation on the NY securities exchange that is part of a larger corporation that includes the Federal Reserve Bank, the World Bank and the IMF.

So what does this mean? What it means is that South Africans are collateral, we are "assets"of this corporation. And the job of this corporation is to make money out of us any way they can.

All the tax we pay, on our salaries, on the food and clothing we buy, on every licence imaginable that they can think up for anything and everything we could possibly want to do is not for our benefit but for the benefit of the corporation. Eskom no longer exists to provide power to the people of the country, it now exists to make money for the government, ie corporation.

Along with this money making racket that we pay for and for which we see no benefit at all, every government service is now being "outsourced" to other companies who give the South African corporation and their political minions a cut for this privilege. The most blatant example recently is the E Toll, about to roll out across the nation in horrific, robotic structures that mar our landscape.  In spite of the fuel levy which amounts to over 40 billion a year, we now have to pay SANRAL & Tolplan and make them rich. This on top pf our licence disks paid every year AND our driver's licence renewable every five years with a cut going to El Shiek!

Very soon all schools, all hospitals and all police services will also be privatised. Government as we once knew it no longer exists. Government now functions as a money management system to the benefit of themselves and the corporations they serve and in parliament they ensure that laws are passed to the benefit of those who want to exploit the country in every way imaginable. Pretty soon now we will also have corporate funding for political parties like they do in the USA. Democracy is dead. We live in a corporate fascist state.

A recent example of this principle in action is fracking in the Karoo. Fracking is a terrible process that destroys the environment and is a health hazard. But the ANC has gone ahead and supported it. If you want to know why, hit google and see who owns shares in what and by whom. This will explain why our government, sorry, corporation, is deaf to the many pleas and evidence of the dangers of fracking, despite the fact that the rest of the world is now passing legislation that bans fracking because it is such a hazardous system.

Another example is Genetically Modified food. Again hit google, find out who owns shares in which GMO companies etc. Legislation has been passed that all food products containing 5% or more GMO has to be labelled. To date nobody complies. Their excuse is that the legislation lacks "clarity." I think it is perfectly clear. All food products that have been produced through genetic modification ( including beef, poultry and fish) and/or contain genetically modified ingredients in excess of 5% must be labelled as such so that consumers know what they are paying for and actually have a choice as to whether they want to eat this rubbish or not.

Genetically modified Maize and Soya is a health hazard, causing increases in cancer, infertility and organ damage. They can argue the toss on this and suppress all the evidence as much as they like and put out propaganda in the the MSM, but it does not change the facts.

Worst of all is the patenting of food sources and putting ownership of all seeds, plants and animals in the hands of a few corporations, thereby taking away our god given right to produce our own food at little cost. But the maze of deception is bigger than this. The end game is corporate farming and the elimination of small scale, individual private ownership of land, small holdings and farms. We will all be herded like cattle to live in smart cities and wear RFID chips under our skin and be monitored like mice in a lab.

Russia on the other hand has a completely different policy. They have banned GMO and anyone caught using it will be treated along the same lines as a terrorist with a 20 year jail sentence. They are also taking a policy towards the support and development of small scale farming, small business development and private ownership along local lines of the Russian population as opposed to a few corporate giants owning and controlling the food industry. Their aim is to fully develop organic farming to the benefit of their own health, job creation. their own people and their own economy. But this does not fit in with the ANC's neo-liberal policies. They are after all...

A corporation, NOT a government of the people, by the people, for the people. And we are assets, not enfranchised citizens of our own land. Very soon our Constitution and Bill of Rights will be scrapped as well, along with the Constitutional Court. This stands in the way of Corporate control and hegemony of all our resources. A middle class, educated (NOT on OBE dumbed down) self empowered society is the enemy of a corporate fascist state. This is not capitalism, this is not a free market society. This is a feudal system with total control in the hands of a few elite oligarchs of ALL race groups I might add. So playing the skin colour card here does not apply.

I don't know about you, but this is not what I agreed to. And more and more I am starting to suffocate with added costs mounting day by day, servicing "outsourced" to companies who make huge profits, seeing very little return to the benefit of the people of this country considering all the taxes and licence fees we pay... along with rampant corruption and greed in every government department, and on top it, I am being poisoned with food that is considered by other countries to be an act of terrorism!

We have four more years ahead of us and by then who knows how much more damage they will do. Further steps will include the Secrecy Bill and next censorship of the press and next in all likelihood a police state and we will back again with detention without trial. Criminals will run our country and new laws will be put in place to protect their interests and to restrict your rights as a human being.

Can you say "Viva Nkandla style!  Viva"?
