What ever happened to what's his face?

27 August 2013, 11:58
I'm one of those people that spends more of his time reading the gems here on MySpews24 (I mean that's what it boils down to) than actual news. This may be attributed to the difference between commentary from the "Genpop" that troll those sections and the few wizened and then the somewhat less than appropriate individuals from this 'blog" camp that I've come to love and respect.

So no, I don't really read much of the news because I feel as though joining that "discussion" is like stripping down and joining the droolers. I mean have you seen of those commenters? It makes some of our more hardcore members of the theist camp seem sane. but I digest...
So here comes the million dollar question, what exactly happened to Nelson Mandarryl Simpson? You know that really old dude who's supposed to be improving the last time we heard wind from the news? I mean maybe I'm just slow and missing the joke here but a couple of months ago this was like, EVERYWHERE! You couldn't go to bog with out hearing about some arbitrary crapola, excuse the pun, posted in the form of a news article that covered every toe nail scrap of information that transpired at that fated hospital (Pretoria Heartless, or something). Not a single anthill went unreported.
Then this amusing spin-off hit the air when star, Mandla Mandela (whom I've honestly never heard of until then) threw a bitch fit over a pile of bones or something as equally irrelevant (honestly didn't pay much attention). Then there was something about a family meeting over Nelson's (whackhead) Mandela's burial and all this wishy-washy talk of his improvement and so on, so forth you must remember of whom I speak now? Right?
"Critical but stable", no where in the history of man has such a paradoxical term EVER been used to describe someones health. I mean lets say a man was cut in half by a vending machine (Why a vending machine? O.o???) and the doctors told his family they were able to save both his legs and torso but they are now two separate entities which means this poor man is now half the man he used to be but now has a twin brother called Pantaloons, THAT'S how much sense it makes.
That was over a month or so ago that we heard from that giant circus and since then its like nothing ever happened. Its the most anti-climaticle (is that a word?) ending to such a well known individual. Not that i'm singing praise its just fact. I mean England had Diana's death, America had Kennedy, Argentina had Eva Peron and this was supposed to be our big moment... But we blew it. I mean not a soul cares anymore. Do you?
This, I know, isn't my normal display of insanity but the question did kind of raise itself last night whilst I was watching The Borgia's. Rodrigo kind of reminded me of our very own malcontent past leader so... there.
And speaking of the Pope, I had written a lovely piece on Catholicism that Spews24 refuses to post no matter how many times I submit the accursed satire. I mean I stuck the correct amount of warning labels all over it. Maybe the editor is a Catholic, who knows....
