What is happening to society?

14 January 2013, 13:35
It seems everywhere I go now days there is always a group of people fighting about something. Lately I have been seeing a lot of religious fights break out.

I don't understand why this has to happen? We all have freedom of speech, we all have the right to our own opinions and what we want to believe in. I am a proud Pagan, I have lived and breathed Paganism for the last 10 years. It's my religion, my way of life. Do I push this on others? No. Do you see other Pagans try to push their beliefs on others? No. So why must some of the Christians out there do it?

I read an Article a while back on here that a Lady posted about the 10 threats to Christianity, In this article she wrote that other religions are a threat. Now why would this be? Yes Christianity has its mortal enemy religion Satanism, but Satanism wouldn't be around if the Christians didn't put the idea of Satan in peoples heads.

Satanism was created to help push the number of Christians up, Why do I say this? Because in all honestly if there was no Satan there would be no God. It seems to me that these Christians love using the fear of God to get you to join them. Is that not evil in itself? If taking away someones right to their own thoughts and opinions is evil, Then why can't we sit back and say the Christians are evil for doing this?

The simple truth, these Christians are so hell bent on turning this world into one church going frenzy that they themselves don't sit down, shut and actually think of what they are doing to other people.

As a Pagan I deal with people on a daily basis that have something to say about how my religion is "evil" and how I am a "devil worshiper" when in simple terms all I do is thank the elements and give back to mother nature what she has given me.
Christians are so quick to claim things are theirs when in truth it originally belonged to the Pagans.

The hot cross buns that made headlines last year are actually a symbol of Paganism. The cross on the bun is to bless it. Yet so many Christians have made a fuss and called it theirs. The Christian holidays are all in the same week as the Pagan Sabbaths. If research is done properly you will see that almost all of what Christians have called their own actually belongs to a different religion is not religions.

Now please understand that in this article I am not accusing all Christians for this behavior. A good Friend of mine has a great way of telling the different between the Christians this world could work with and the Christians that will destroy this world. The Christians who push their belief on everyone, the ones who so quickly judge those who have tattoos or look different.

I'm talking about the Christians who stand up and tell everyone that its all black and white with no grey areas, you either believe in God and live happily or you don't and burn in hell.  I want those Christians to please explain to me how God will judge the 15 year old boy in an African country that has never heard of Jesus before, who will never hear of Jesus because in his country Jesus is just a name.

How will God judge that boy? Will your powerful God condemn a young boy to hell just for the simple fact that the boy didn't know who Jesus was?

Explain how you can praise a God that would do this to a person and you still call him merciful and expect other to believe in him.

I'm better off being a Pagan. The only rule we have is "if ye harm none, do as ya will." I would take that simple rule over anything the bible says.
