Gen 4:15 “And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.” I believe the mark here is dual fold. Spiritual as well as natural, and both of it can be referred to as THE MARK OF THE BEAST.
As discussed in previous posts the beast left a physical mark when his giant features were carried over into the human race. Through the sin of Eden that beast is the original father of the giant race which Genesis 6 later speaks of. Cain inherited that mark, and it was that mark which came through God’s laws of reproduction that was going to protect Cain. No one finding that son of the giant beast, himself a giant human beast of a fellow, was going to even try kill him. He was wanted for the murder of Abel, but his features protected him, lest anyone finding should kill him.
But the beast of Eden who led Eve into sin, not only passed on his physical giant features, he also left his spiritual mark on the human race. He was the first speaking creature who was anti-God, or anti-Christ. He preached a gospel to Eve that was anti-God. Up until that beast began his ministry to Eve, earth only had one belief system. Both Adam and Eve absolutely believed in God. But the beast had a different mark of faith in his forehead. Look carefully. He was not an atheist as he did believe there was a God and referred to God in his dealings with Eve, but he just didn’t believe all the words of God. That was the spiritual mark of the beast. He spread a faith contrary to that of God.
Isn’t that a mark found everywhere even today? They believe there is a God, but they just don’t believe every word He says. God said the wages of sin is death – the day you partake of its fruits you die, the beast say: Oh no Eve, that is not so, you won’t die. God just don’t want you to have knowledge of sin because He is afraid you will become equal to Him.
The beast was the first anti-Christ manifested in flesh. And God allowed the beast freedom of religion. He could think in his forehead what ever he wanted to, and execute with his right hand of power that which he believed. If he didn’t believe sin could kill, he could practice that until the judgement. Faith is a mark in your forehead, and what ever you believe, that you will do unless you are hypocrite. What you believe with your mind will guide your hands. So any belief or mark in your mind or forehead is so important, because it affects your actions. If you believe you should kill all opposition to your faith, you will execute just that with your hands.
The world was in chaos in the dark ages because of some people’s faith or mark in their foreheads. Today faith marks still cause havoc in the Middle East and elsewhere. The Eden beast also believed in God but his denominational view was slightly different than that of Eve. And then he went on to convince Eve that his denominational idea was the right one. Worship God, but just don’t believe everything He says. But then came the judgement for the beast, Eve, and Adam.
Eve found out God’s word was right, and after she sinned, she died. And it seems that Cain after the beast lost his abilities to speak and deceive, became the next giant to continue in a different faith then what God proscribed. Where once the beast carried the spiritual seed or lies of Satan against the word of God, Cain now went the same way.
Both Abel and Cain wanted to know God, worship and please Him. Both of them realized they were sinful and needed God’s forgiveness, so both of them brought God offerings to please Him. Adam and Eve didn’t worship God at that time , as Gen. 4:26 tells us men only began to call upon the Name of the Lord at the birth of Seth’s son Enos. Without any guidance as to what would be pleasing to God both boys offered. And here we learned that God does not receive all sorts of offerings unto Him. He has a specific way He wants to be worshiped. He prescribes the offerings, and the way it should be brought.
Abel offered the fat of his first-ling sheep. In other words he slaughtered a lamb to get to it’s fat. And then God accepted the offering from a slain Lamb! Worthy is the Lamb of God who died on the cross. His blood alone can atone for man’s sin. Abel wanted his sin forgiven and slaughtered an innocent Lamb. And when God saw the blood, it covered his sin. That lamb was a shadow of the Great Lamb of God who was to come to take away the sin of all mankind. The blood of the lamb pleased God then, and the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ alone still pleases God now. There is the prescribed offering for today! Cain brought fruits and God didn’t want to be worshiped that way.
When Cain realized he brought a wrong kind of offering, he became angry. Gen.4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?” God asked. He had been shown through Abel’s offer what God desire, and now only needed to be humble enough to accept he was wrong, go and do the same as Abel to be accepted. But the sin of pride was just before the door of his heart. And that pride conquered him. Instead of accepting the right kind of way to worship God, he stuck to his own way.
There it is again. Instead of doing what God showed him to do, he kept his own mark of faith, and destroyed all opposition to it. What did Cain do? Murdered his brother. Isn’t that what some did in the dark ages? When the first church of Rome were told their way wasn’t according to the Bible, what did they do? Caused the blood of their fellow Christian brothers to flow.
And as we watch the bloodline of Cain we see they just went on the same way. They knew Abel’s and Seth’s way was acceptable before God, but Cain and his offspring just went from bad to worse. They had great natural strength as giants to enforce their way, and anyone standing in their path suffered the consequences. Later on the sons of God began to fell for the pretty women of the side of Cain and left their own principle’s and it all went into sin until God had to bring the flood to wipe their sinful ways from the earth.
When the flood came most of the giants died out and only Noah and his sons and their wives went into the ark. If we watch the blood line of Noah we see none of the men could have had any giant blood. But we know nothing of the wives and it could have come through there. So when we see that there were once again some giants after the flood, we can only deduct that some the women in the bloodline carried that DNA. See the mercy of God? Anyone could have been saved if they offered right and the presence of giants after the flood proved that.
Today giants are none existent, but in the Book of Daniel 7 we see God now refers to governments as beasts. And here is the mark of the beast. The Beasts today is the powerful governments, gigantic organizations whom everyone fears. The mark in the forehead is the religion. And when government supports a certain religion like they did in the dark ages, you have the mark of the beast again. Religious mark+ State beast = Mark of the beast. When governments unites itself with a specific faith or faiths, it spells big trouble every time for everyone opposed to that.
For then the forced religious mark is provided by the chosen religion or religions, and the gigantic beast power to kill opposition is provided by the government. Whosoever opposes that religious mark can then be persecuted. The beast [government] then enforces the mark [religion] upon all great and small. Whosoever did not belong to the Roman state religion back then could not buy or sell or do business freely. They lost their jobs because they did not agree with the state religion, died in prisons under inquisitions, and were burned on fires for not having that state religion in their foreheads. We are heading that way again. When state and religion unites, its time to flee, unless you agree.
