I truly do not remember where I heard the above axiom, but I had a flash of genius this morning as I woke up. Now, more than ever, that statement rings true for me. Now you’ve got to forgive me. I’ve read so many books and listened to inumerable audiobooks that I sometimes can’t keep track of which thought leader said what, when.
For the next couple of sentences that ensue, consider me as “the student” - and the opportunities, the people and life-altering moments as “the teacher”. For the longest time I’ve always been intrigued by the idea that we create our own realities, that we aren’t victims to circumstance, that we aren’t preys to external factors, that life takes a course we choose.
How many of us read/hear words that allude to such on our Bibles, our Qorans, from thought leaders of yesteryear, from all kinds of people who’ve done things worthy of laudation? How many of us internalise those words and truly believe in them? Well, to tell you the obvious, very few of us do. It’s the only reason that only a modest 5% of the world’s population enjoys raging success that the rest of the populace only dream of in the chambers of their mind.
I am laying out a challenge to you to stretch yourself to the farthest reach of your potentialities. When you seek ways to better yourself, when you resolve to do the best you possibly can, honestly, the universe conspires to help you. All you need do is to show the willingness, to act on the willingness, making use of the little resources you have at your disposal. Like a thing off a fantasy book, greater opportunities that you initially were blinded to, start appearing before you, strewn all over the show. People that will help you forward come unbidden.
All you need do is have the wisdom to properly take advantage of them. You should have no sinister intentions, no evil will, no back-stabbings, no betrayals, no competitive nature. There’s a world of abundance out there and there’s ample fruitage for all to enjoy.
Yours is to do the seeking, and the finding becomes very easy. Obviously, you need to obstinately resolve to pursue whatever your greatest ideal is, be prepared to walk the burning coal, be prepared to stand naked for all to see, persist through the hurdles that will be placed before you. But know that no problem can long endure the constant assault of unflinching solution-seeking. All greats who enjoy success today did no differently.
What I have just shared with you is true for whether you want to excel in your line of work, to achieve peak health, to gain pecuniary abundance, to improve your relationships, to tap into inward, spiritual serenity.
When you’ve undergone the unrelenting, assiduous work; when you’ve persisted through the challenges; when you’ve proven your “readiness”; THE TEACHER APPEARS!
