Who allowed 800 children's bodies dumped in a mass grave?

07 June 2014, 21:49

The news coming out of Ireland this week is truly horrific.

Almost 800 'forgotten' Irish children dumped in septic tank mass grave at Catholic home

"A septic tank was used to dump the bodies of almost 800 babies and children in Ireland near a home for unmarried mothers run by nuns, new research has shown, throwing more light on the Irish Catholic Church's troubled past. “

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-05/almost-800-irish-children-dumped-in-septic-tank-mass-grave/5501482

What was the Irish Government thinking when they entrusted children to the Catholic Church and paid the church to look after them?

- That they would be fed?

- That they would be clothed, housed, educated and cared for?

- That their health issues and privations would be attended to?

- That they would receive a modicum of love and affection?

Wrong on all accounts.

How could any civilised person believe an orphanage (let alone one run in the name of god) would actually starve children to death and let them die of disease?

How could any civilised person conceive of 800 Irish children in the 20th century systematically starved, ill-treated in a despicable fashion that resembles the horrors of Nazi Germany?

How could any civilised person discard dead children in a mass grave.?

How could any civilised person dump a body in a septic tank?

How could any civilised person treat unmarried mothers like slaves and consign them to cruel sadists running a camp where children were sent to die?

These events beggar belief. 800 (EIGHT HUNDRED!) children dumped in a mass grave. Abandoned in life, abandoned in death, abandoned by the Catholic Church and abandoned by the god in whose name these atrocities were perpetrated..

This merciful god knew in advance when the next child would die, and did nothing.

This merciful god watched impassively as the child died in the most piteous circumstances and did nothing.

This merciful god did nothing while the little bodies where defiled and dumped unceremoniously into a mass grave in a cesspit.

Has Mr "nice" Pope said anything about this while he ponces around for his next PR stunt and photo opportunity? Of course not.

So let's hear from any person who believes he worships a loving merciful god who can explain why this god never ever does anything to protect children? Please explain why you worship such an undeserving, uncaring, callous monster?
