Why I do not support charities any more...

17 July 2013, 07:33
I use to support charities, but then I stopped! Why? Let me explain.

To me, it feels like an endless battle. Government does absolutely nothing in my opinion to help those in need. They only look at their own corrupt pockets. Companies and individuals together spend billions of rands and thousands of hours to try make a difference, but without Government's backing, it cannot work out. Basically, I have given up. Until Government does something to really make a difference, and fight corruption to the bone where the tax payer's money starts making a positive difference in SA, I will not support charities any more

cANCer is killing our beautiful country. Our help makes a small difference, like radio therapy, but until cANCer is destroyed, it will slowly consume the body (SA) until it is destroyed and there is nothing left. Our help is just slowing the process. Only if cANCer starts to help healing the body will things start getting better, but unfortunately, it seldom has the intelligence to know and understand, that it kills itself together with the body. It just consumes until there is nothing left, and then dies itself

Harsh? Unfortunately yes, but somewhere, we have to start standing together to force the government to cease it's corrupt ways, and open it's eyes, and also that of the world! We have little power in most areas, so let's start using the power we do have to open the ears of those arrogant, ignorant and foolish leaders
