Why are Cartoons more offensive than Murder & Kidnapping?

Why are Cartoons more offensive than Murder & Kidnapping?

I’ve been tempted to draw a few cartoons of the Prophet Mohamed. The first would depict the prophet emerging from a forest on a beautiful white horse, next he would be seen entering a school for girls, followed by a scene of him violently kidnapping hundreds of these girls. I’m not sure how to depict him doing what kidnappers do to young girls; I will have to give this some thought. (Thankfully the girls are not infants as they would most likely be subjected to Mufa’ Khathat - If you don’t know what that is, look it up, it’s quite interesting. Fatwa Number 31409 (Mufa’ Khathat)). The next scene would be - all the girls dressed in sacks (Burka), all in a line, with a ‘pick your bride’ banner overhead.

The next cartoon I’m tempted to draw would be of the prophet Mohamed pointing his finger at a young girl, bible in hand, Qur’an discarded on the floor, hanging from the gallows. A wry smile on his face as the life drains out of her body, with a choice of captions:

“Do you still think Jesus is Better than Allah?”

“My Spook is way more scary than yours!”

“Why don’t you pray to Jesus – he saves, didn’t you know?”

“I keep telling you, Islam is a Religion of peace! Why do you not believe me?”

“Free Will – Not on my watch B – itches!”

Now I know these cartoons may be a little naughty, it is however necessary to highlight the priorities of the Muslim community. They don’t march in the street and burn down embassies when young girls are abducted, raped, tortured and murdered. They do however march in the street and kill and burn when people draw cartoons.

Why is the Islamic community dead quiet on these issues?
