Why atheists are blind

05 July 2012, 08:19

In my last gem of an article - true to form - the deluded atheists either went running for the hills with no explanation, or were left frothing at the mouth like rabid dogs.

So for now, I will park the debate which hasn’t really been addressed of why the atheist religion shares so many of their core beliefs with Satanism.  It’s shocking, disturbing, but since there were no outright denial of the facts, I guess admission or concession was the end result.

But moving on.

There have been some interesting discussions between believers and atheists regarding the existence of God.  To think that atheists can be so pig-headed and stiff-necked in their beliefs is unsettling.  Two questions arise in my mind when considering the arguments both for and against:

1.        Whey can atheists not see the truth?

2.       Is there hope for blind atheists?

As a departure point, consider this:  There is no darkness, for darkness is merely the absence of light.

So why are atheists so blind to the truth?  Why can they not see?  Why can they not understand?

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” - 2 Corinthians 4:4

** - After Satan deceived Adam and Eve, he effectively inherited the keys to this earthly kingdom, forever enslaving mankind in sin.  So the ‘god’ of this world, has blinded the minds of unbelievers.  For that reason, atheists are blinded from knowing or coming to the knowledge of the truth.

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” - John 1:5

“...  Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” - John 12:35

The problem with the atheist trolls on MyNews24, is that they continue to confuse science with their atheist belief system - the two are worlds apart.  Trying to measure God by physical instrumentation, or starting your search in a laboratory or in the worlds’ encyclopaedia volumes, is just silly.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” - John 4:24

Blind hearts and minds will never be able to see, unless the light of God Himself opens up their deceived minds.  They can study and research all they want, but only God can save them.

“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” – 2 Timothy 3:7

So to the second question, “Is there hope for blind atheists?”  Absolutely!!!  Knowing God’s truth will free any blinded heart and mind.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” – John 17:17

So there’s hope.  Even for those who look at the tumultuous world around us, and blame God for it, and for those who are slaves to their own sin, there’s hope.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9

So don’t reject God, it’s not worth it.  Allow His light in, so that your heart and mind can be free from the blindness.

(My next article will focus on the proof of God’s existence).

Dear Vanessa: who is African?

Sorry to rain on your parade. I won’t take much of your time. I’m sure you have more important things to muse over than some silly drivel from a black man. Now I’m going to ask a few questions that might just sound plain silly – or unwise. That shouldn’t surprise you, seeing that you think my type is reckless anyway. Read more...
