Sitting here reading the one millionth racist comment on yet another sad story, I started wondering. Why cant we "NOT" live together. It seems apparent no matter how hard we try, racism will never go away, we will never live in peace the way it suppose to be. You heard this all before, I know, so lets start thinking about solutions.
Why has it never been a option to split us up, whites on their own, black on their own, will this not resolve the issue? For example, why dont white people all move to the Cape. We can call it South South Africa. We will start over, build what we need, grow our own food on both sides. Wont we then live in peace? Im not being a racist, but it just seems we just cant do it.
Before you jump up and down, think about this, we all live between each other, but how often do we ever get together, be great friends? There are the rare occasions of course, we all try our best dont we, but in general, we just cant seem to get it right? So why not avoid all this? Will we not save thousands, even millions of lives (I want a peace price if this idea gets used). Will we not then finally be able to live in peace, no one blames anything on race, the hate in everyone's hearts just dissapear.
Most of us were but little kids when it was the apartheid era, I cant remember one instance of being told to hate a person just because of their race? But I get reminded of it every day by us, the normal South Africans trying to make sense of this "rainbow nation" crap. Split us peacefully, let us try live the way we always envisioned it should be like. Nothing else is working?
