Hello fellow South Africans
Yesterday I posted an article about how abusive South
Africans were, and posted a internet link which defined abuse.
I also generally asked "why do South Africans abuse
each other so much?"

Comments came back in the following categories (which I have
also commented on bulleted):
1. Category "so what"
"Abuse is
perfectly ok, when freely expressing oneself."
Although there was
disagreement, here some commentators noted that Abuse is destructive because it
distances readers and detracts from clear expressions of points.
- I
personally feel that abuse also prevents rational discussion and creates
barriers to problem solving and communication. What should be the method
for dealing with online abusers?
2. Category "Not just South Africa"
Abuse is prevalent
worldwide not only within South
Africa.
- Although
personally I would venture that I have not seen the same bitterness and
frequency of abuse in comments sections, in other countries forums', and
suggest that we should not tolerate abusive people, which brings me back
to What should be the method for dealing with online abusers?
3. Category "general reasons for abuse"
a) Abuse is a
symptom of low intelligence
- Can
anybody back this up with links or add comments?
b) Abuse is so
plentiful because South Africans hate each other along racial lines, and abuse
in SA exists because of pent up feelings due to political correctness, where
forums are a release valve which helps prevent racial war, additionally this
will carry on until all sides fight it out.
- Can
anybody back this up with links or add comments?
c) Abuse is more
likely online when anonymous and impersonal
- I
think this is a well substantiated factor already
3.1 Category
"reasons for political majority black abuse"
a) Abuse is
publicly made fashionable by high ranking political trend setters.
- Can
anybody back this up with links or add comments?
3.2 Category
"reasons for white abuse"
a) Whites Abuse Africans
because they believe Africans feel entitled to white funding.
- Can
anybody back this up with links or add comments?
Thanks everyone in participating
