You got the moves like Dawkins
I am amazed how far we have progressed scientifically. We can now evolve into our role model very quickly. If our role model change positions on a view or belief, we can do it almost immediately.
I made a general appeal to check my understanding of the following terms: Atheists and Agnostics. I was super surprised by the different definitions I received. I was confused before and I am confused now.
I also observed some people who stated that they were once a 7 in the belief scale but have moved to 6.9 (Rating scale where 1 = total belief in GOD and 7 = No belief in GOD).
This got me thinking. Maybe we should coin a term for these people. Rather than use atheist or agnostic or atheist-agnostic or agnostic-atheist who is rather confusing, why not just call them Dawkinite.
In fact, I observed some of the atheists using words that Dawkins use. In fact if they nicked themselves Dawkins, I would be prone to believe that it was Dawkins himself.
Why am I saying this? It’s easy. This is what I have observed. Please note that not all theists have demonstrated this trait. It’s just a few that are glaring. Does this mean anything? Is there a point to it? No, it’s just an observation.
I wonder what they would do if Dawkins moved from a 6.9 to a 6.5. Sorry but this is how my evolved mind works.
Definition of a Dawkinite – anyone who will adopt any position Dawkins adopt.
