Isn't it amazing how a day of memorial for one of the most important, iconic and most recognized faces of the last century, unfortunately, got turned into a animal circus.
It seems to be the African way or just the South African way, that everything we would like to cherish as citizens of this country, something we would like to hold dear to our hearts, always turns into a controversial mampara type moment. It blows my mind how everything just becomes a big joke and the world has a front row seat to all the madness, shocking to say the least.
Jacob 'shoot from the hip' Zuma got booed when he entered the stadium, what did he expect, a standing ovation, I mean, lets get real here. This is how out of touch this individual is with reality, he honestly thinks he is royalty with his gaggle of wives in tow and everyone just has to bow in front of him, hale to the emperor of Nkandla. I would love to know what was going through the other heads of states minds while this oak was getting booed by his own people, hilarious I tell you.
Everyone loved what Obama had to say and people really gobbled it up like popcorn at the premier of The Hunger Games. But unfortunately we all know where Obama comes from and what he stands for and who his bosses really are, so whatever, God bless South Africa blah blah blah. I will say that what he had to say, totally overshadowed anything everyone else had to say and he did have some nice things to say about Mandela. I still don't like him.
How can the ANC let that man, Thamsanqa Jantjies, sign at a event as big as this was, after Mangaung? Do they really just not care about anything, is the buddy for buddy system clouding their judgement so badly, that repercussions just doesn't compute with these people. Are they not getting tired of making up excuses for the people of this country? Are they not ashamed of anything they do anymore? Are they not ashamed of how they have trampled all over the name of Mandela on the day that was about him and no one else?
The world, South Africa, everyone is up in arms about the scandal that is the ANC and how they are ruining everything good this country stands for, so I say...
You have to be in awe of the ANC
