Get published - the NEW way

So, you have news stories and pictures to share?

We at News24 have made it easy for you, the user, to become a news reporter. With our new submission tool you can get your stories and pictures  published for the whole world to see!

How to do it:

• You first have to log in via Facebook

• Create your News24 uploader profile

• Click on your profile, and then the Submit Content button. Now you're ready to roll

Stories:

• Click on the Article icon

• Give your content a title, add your story in the box and give it a topic.

• Click on the submit button and voila! The News24 team will receive your submission and review for publication.

Photos:

• Click on your profile, and then the Submit Content button.

• Click on the Photo icon

• Asign your pic a topic (ANCYL march, Cape Town sunset, Snow in KZN, etc.)

• Fetch your photo by clicking on the Add files... button

• You'll see your pic appear. Click on Start Upload and fill in the caption. This is very important as you cannot submit a photo without a caption.

• Click on Submit content and your photo is sent for review for publication

You will now see your and other users' articles and photos displayed on the homepage, as well as your statistics only available to you.
