We've heard your feedback and have launched a new comments system on News24.
Over the next few days, we'll be testing the new system out on the articles normally open for comment - MyNews24, News24 Columnists and Science and Technology articles. Once we're happy everything's working as expected, we'll be opening all articles for comment.
So what's different? Well, from this moment onwards, you'll need to log in to comment on News24. You can log in using your 24.com account (sign up, or log in here), your Facebook account, your Gmail account or your Twitter account. This means no more anonymous comments on our articles.
You'll also be able to report comments to us that you think don't comply with our terms and conditions, and reply to a comment directly in a nested view.
We'll also be rolling out share options, likes and posting to social networks on comments in the weeks and months that follow.
