If I was your average Alien, criss-crossing the universe in search of semi-intelligent life-forms to enslave and probe, I'd most certainly give Earth a big miss. I am willing to bet, in fact, that a place like Bloemfontein has never had a UFO sighting.
What is wrong with the human race?
University of the Free State students apparently made a video depicting the "initiation" of five black cleaners at a traditionally white men's residence on the campus. The video shows the cleaners downing beers and then eating food that's been urinated on, amongst other (more humiliating) things...
What the hell is wrong with our so-called future leaders?
If we are not microwaving cats in Durban, rioting in Tshwane or killing in Stellenbosch we are urinating in people's food and distributing videos of it. It matters not that there's no evidence of the cleaners in question being forced to do anything - what matters is the barbaric nature of the "ritual" itself.
Added to that, bastards don't break in, rob you of everything you have and then leave anymore - no, victims are burnt with irons, boiling water, cigarettes... strangled, raped, stabbed, shot and beaten to a pulp in front of their loved ones. For what? Because of poverty?
Blow me. Poverty does not make you torture someone - and drunken delinquency and (obviously) piss-poor upbringing does not give you the right to humiliate any person, no matter what creed of colour they are.
If I was your average slave-spotting alien I'd have no use for the mess of bacteria and parasites roaming this planet. There are three-eyed, hairy-backed, saber-toothed creatures in caves 23 million light years North-east of Uranus with more decorum and emotional intelligence.
This is why people are starting to live their lives online - because the overwhelming deluge of human scum is just not worth the time of day. Mark my words boys and girls, we are heading for an implosion.
Our brutality and behaviour towards each other is reaching fever pitch. All over the world the cracks in the matrix are deepening, the crevices widening, the divide between common sense, common decency, respect and your (very) average citizen is just too wide to cross with one shake of the head.
It has to be constant.
Our response to inhumane behaviour - whether it be in the form of crime, animal and domestic abuse, religious or racial intolerance has to be clear, consistent and cohesive in its condemnation and disgust. Perpetrators of gross violations must be made examples of - even if they are in positions of power.
This is the only way forward for us... if we are to survive, to evolve, to emerge from the dark corners of the universe to take our rightful place in the heavens...
The time is now.
